It just goes to show that you can't learn everything from books. I spent a lot of time researching how a blind student's day would be, but never came across the issue that you pointed out regarding the braille for THE. Needless to say, there is time for me to fix that before the print edition releases. So I think Simmi's first word might be HOMER, instead of THE - and that's thanks to you!<br /><br />Don't worry, Alex isn't going anywhere. Although he won't be narrating other books in the series, he remains the most important character and will be a key player in all novels. Open Heart (book #2) will have much more romantic development, so I think you'll like that ;-)<br /><br />Thank you again.
